Come learn to do what every culture throughout history has done-use foods and herbs to treat such common conditions as digestive disorders, fatigue, stress, colds/flus, infections, food poisoning, high blood pressure, etc. We’ll explore the healing benefits of ginger, onions, garlic, celery, cinnamon, burdock root, eggplant, oregano, maitake and shitake mushrooms, etc., and discover how to use these foods in dishes, soups, teas, and external applications such as compresses and poultices to treat pain, fevers, skin conditions and gum problems.
